Oniqua Advisory Forum

Further to the announcement at the Oniqua Conference last October we are introducing an Advisory Forum. The Forum with comprise of a small number of nominated customer representatives.  The purpose is:

  • To enable customers and partners to provide formal input into OAS development ideas and priorities.
  • To discuss common maintenance and supply related challenges and issues facing asset-intensive enterprises...with the expectation that we will setup ad hoc working groups to collaborate on identifying and defining relevant and innovative solutions.

Conversely it is NOT a forum for support or project issues.
The forum is a major new element of the Oniqua Advisory programs and expands on the existing:

  • Product Change Request (PCR) process for suggesting changes and enhancements to software products and associated methodology
  • Regular IQ Newsletter
  • Annual Oniqua Conference

Other new elements of the program coming in 2009 are Oniqua Solutions blog; OAS knowledgebase and Customer input via web surveys.

Objectives of the program are to achieve greater engagement with customer and partners to improve and make more effective software product, methodology and processes.  In particular we want customer guidance on product direction (Development Roadmap) and priority, and input into the Annual Conference.  We are striving to realize greater benefits from Oniqua solutions.

Arrangements for the forum are 6-monthly (twice a year) face-to-face meetings in both USA and Australia.  Customer forum members will be invited to host the meetings on a rotating basis, with Oniqua facilitating the meetings and with members meeting their own expenses.

We are looking for some more foundation members both in Australia and in USA.

Please register your interest by 18 February.  Register

The inaugural meeting (conference call) is planned for the following week.  The draft timeline is:

  • February: First meeting, Charter established and schedule determined
  • March: First Australian face-to-face Forum meeting
  • April: First American face-to-face Forum meeting (and potentially regional workshop)
  • Second face-to-face joint Forum meetings will be at the Oniqua Conference in November

The commitment is a modest one (a couple of days a year) yet provides the opportunity to meet with other like-minded individuals, influence the direction of OAS solutions and derive more from the use of Oniqua solutions for your company.
Please register now, note there is a limit of two representatives per customer.
