Meet Our Distinguished Board of Directors
Rick Anstey – Chairman
Rick Anstey has over 30 years experience in the IT&T industry and in associated investment banking roles. He has built and managed a number of his own companies, including the Tangent Group and several subsidiary companies both in Australia and overseas. He is also the co-founder of InQbator, a Queensland-based investment group.
Rick holds a number of current non-executive directorships and advisory roles and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian Venture Capital Association and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. He is also a past Member of the Queensland Government’s Communication and Information Advisory Board, which advised the Government’s Minister of Innovation and Information Economy.
Andy Hill – Chief Executive Officer
Andy Hill is Chief Executive Officer and a co-founder of the Oniqua group. Andy trained as a Mechanical Engineer and started his career as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer with Rolls-Royce Aerospace in the United Kingdom.
In 1990, Andy immigrated to Australia and helped to establish a consulting business specializing in the optimization of maintenance spares inventory. Through these consulting activities, Oniqua identified the need for an inventory management decision-support tool focused specifically on the types of inventories held by asset-intensive industries. Andy conducted extensive research and simulation regarding the types of statistical profiles exhibited by maintenance and production-driven inventories leading to the development of Oniqua’s inventory optimization tool, which is currently used by many of the world’s largest asset-based companies to optimize over $5 billion of maintenance spares inventories.
Andy has provided consulting services to dozens of organizations in Australia, Asia, South Africa, Latin America and North America and has led the Oniqua group to become a world leader in maintenance, inventory and procurement analytics with a vision of helping Oniqua’s customers to drive asset performance.
Chris Wright – President, Asia Pacific
Chris Wright is co-founder of Oniqua Enterprise Analytics and serves as President – APAC. Chris has degrees in Computer Science and Business from Rhodes University and holds a Certified Developer of Enterprise (CDE) qualification.
Chris has worked with large mining and utilities customers, delivering Oniqua solutions in Australia, USA, Southern Africa, Chile, Brazil, UK, Indonesia and PNG. Prior to Oniqua, Chris worked for Data General Distributors in Africa, and then in Enterprise Asset Management IT space in Australia.
As President, APAC, Chris has management responsibility for APAC and other regions outside of the Americas, including Africa. He is focused on growing the business, looking after customers and serving as project sponsor on global rollouts of Oniqua Analytics Solution for large, enterprise customers.
Chris is a Member of the Australian Computer Society (MACS) and a Member of the Software Queensland industry association.
Scott Hawkins – Non-Executive Director
Scott Hawkins is President, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Advanced Supply Chain International, LLC. His responsibilities at ASCI have included all aspects of operations, management of ASCI's web tools development program, and various oilfield project initiatives. In addition, he operates RSCI LLC, ASCI's Sakhalin Islands joint venture, and is a Director of Neal and Massy Supply Chain Integrators, ASCI's joint venture in the nation of Trinidad and Tobago.
Mr. Hawkins is also a founder and past president of the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation, a private, non-profit group devoted to local economic development issues. During his eight years with AEDC, Hawkins was involved in the promotion of Alaska-based international logistics industries, recruitment of new business investment and in the creation of the Buy Alaska program.
Hawkins is Chairman of the Alaska Council on Economic Education, Chair of ProsperityAlaska.org, and of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Alaska Roundtable. Hawkins is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Political Science.
Prior to his involvement in the creation of ASCI in 1999, Mr. Hawkins operated his own business, ERDC, a management-and-economics consulting firm based in Anchorage.
Ken Ferguson – Non-Executive Director
Ken Ferguson currently holds a directorship with Ausindo Investments Pty Ltd, where he was managing director from 2004-2009. In his role there, Mr. Ferguson spearheaded the acquisition and management of a portfolio of diverse property investments, including direct investment in a shopping centre, office building, franchise restaurant and data centre.
Ferguson also served as Principal of the Mintek Group Indonesia for ten years. The Mintek Group comprises a portfolio of companies specializing primarily in the earth resource related service industry, including. Mintekindo Utama Unti, Indo Assay Laboratories, Theiss Contractors Indonesia, ISSL and Longyear Mintek Indonesia. Prior to founding the Mintek Group, Ferguson worked in a professional capacity as a geologist, where he helped discover and prove up the Kelian River Gold Deposit year gold mine.
Ferguson graduated with honors from the University of Sydney with a Bachelors of Science degree.
